helping Tel Aviv address the urban heat island effect
Janice has been invited to work with the City of Tel Aviv on ways to address extreme heat as part of the Rockefeller Foundation/Columbia University Resilience Accelerator in October.
The Tel Aviv Accelerator, a partnership between the Columbia University Center for Resilient Cities and Landscapes and 100 Resilient Cities (100RC), leverages the expertise of investors, researchers, designers, and others to rapidly advance resilience in communities around the world.
The Tel Aviv-Yafo Accelerator will focus on specific interventions that can help mitigate the urban heat island effect within the City.
